dress boutique opened its doors in 1999, over a decade ago, to the Marina district and popular Chestnut Street neighborhood in San Francisco. Our dream was to create a boutique where women could shop the newest pieces from unique and undiscovered designers along with many of the proven well known fashion names we all love. dress has continually combined the most relevant trends with easy and basic staples creating a unique and exciting selection to choose from. Using this presentation, dress has encouraged women to rethink and expand their wardrobes, shifting their fashion comfort zone while always looking and feeling their best.
In 2005, dress created shopdressonline.com in order to create an online presence for our shoppers that have left the Bay Area but still wanted contact with our great store. The physical store continued to focus on exciting new fashion designers while the website started to carry an expanded handbag and jewelry selection. Since then we have refined our e-commerce presentation as the handbag market has grown tremendously for us.
